About me

Hi, I’m Meg beliveau.

My own healing journey motivated me to study how the brain, body, nervous system and psyche communicate either promoting or interrupting our sense of health, vitality, and wellbeing. What I’ve learned in over thirty years of transformational work is this: Curiosity, Deep listening, and Attuned Presence can transform habituated patterns that keep us stuck in our lives and can create new pathways to living a life full of passion, possibility, health and vitality.

My passion is connecting the science of the body: (brain, nervous system, and body) with the wisdom of the psyche. For the past thirty years, I have completed comprehensive trainings in the field of neuroscience of trauma, attachment, and health. In 1986, I graduated with Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Nutrition and then participated in a year-long functional nutrition program at the University Minnesota Hospital and Clinics. I graduated with Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from Boston University in 1993. I am a Certified Internal Family Systems Therapist, an Advanced Level Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, a Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy Practitioner, and Heart Math Trauma Informed therapist, and Poly-Vagal Informed therapist.

My second passion is how to parent from a Grounded, Resilient, Attuned, Curious, and Empathic place- being a GRACE-filled parent. This year, I am writing a book “It Takes More than Love: Parenting with GRACE” with colleague Susan Kasser Ph.D.

My Approach

education & training

I have studied with Daniel Siegal, Deb Dana, Stephen Porges, Daniel Hughes, Peter Levine, Janina Fischer, Bonnie Badenoch, Joe Dispenza, and The Heart Math Institute. All are leading researchers and practitioners in the field of interpersonal neurobiology, neuroscience, heart-brain coherence and attachment therapy. I am excited to offer this groundbreaking research in the field of psycho-neuro-immunobiology and body-mind practices to my clients.

I truly love my job and feel rejuvenated by the work with my clients. I love the soulful exchange that occurs with my clients when we co-create a safe and compassionate environment to listen to their deepest truths and pains. I love the momentum that happens, when clients begin to feel a sense of curiosity, compassion, courage, and calm in our sessions and in their lives. I am inspired by the power, presence, and perspective that emerges within my clients which allows them to create the internal and external changes that they deeply desire.
